Minivans will usually have 3 doors, but some models offer 4 doors. Car rental companies don't offer the ability to confirm either option, but if you have a minivan reservation and wish to request a 4 door minivan, you should call the rental company (toll free reservation line) and ask that a 4 door van be added as a preference to your reservation.

Luggage capacity in a minivan will really depend on the number of passengers as well as the type of items you're carrying (there are often items you can place underneath seats).

Note: renters are not permitted to remove seats when renting a minivan.... some companies even make it impossible to do so. A rental minivan is intended for passengers. If you're looking for a cargo van, then renting a moving truck or cargo van would be a better (and usually cheaper) option.
