Car Rental Smoking Policy

I've received a few emails requesting information about car rental smoking policy,  (usually looking for which providers will allow you to smoke in the vehicle) so I did some research. The information below is researched from the provider's websites with regards to smoking in rental cars - if information is provided.

Info  below is provided for Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Fox, Hertz, National, Payless and Thrifty and is based on research into each company's rental guidelines.

Please note, that as with all policies, I try to stay up to date... but that these can change at any time without notice. Always check with an individual company to verify any policy. See: Disclaimer
