My Response: You should be able to find coupons for Avis rental cars, without having to wait until the last minute. It's always a better idea to book your rental car as far in advance as you can. (You can still keep looking for last minute car rental specials that may be better and coupons that you can add to your reservation, but at least you'll have something booked)
There are some basic ways to find coupons for rental cars; Look for Avis car rental discount coupons in your local yellow pages, newspapers and magazines. You may also be a member of discount program (like a frequent flyer program or automobile club) that will provide you with Avis car rental discount codes and coupons in member magazines, newsletters, or on their websites.
Look for "e-coupons" that can be used directly from the Avis site. Check out the page on Current Avis Online Deals for some offers that are available to use now.
As with all coupons for rental cars, make sure that you meet all the terms and conditions for the rental and, if it is a paper coupon, make sure to bring it with you to show at the rental counter.
